The ABC Board meets on Thursday March 30th. Members of Friends of the ABC will gather outside at 12:30.
With the decision of Senator Helen Coonan to abolish the staff elected member of the ABC board, the ABC's governing body will be depirved of the only member with broadcating experience.
Coupled with the chages to the media ownership laws, and suggestions that the ABC should take advertising, the Minister for Communications risks being remembered as Coonan the Barbarian.
