2002

Newspoll, an established opinion polling company, owned by Rupert Murdoch's News Limited, has been surveying public attitudes to the ABC for many years.

For the years 2002-9 inclusive  Newspoll has found around nine in ten Australians believe that ABC news and  current affairs programs are doing a  good job with regard to being fair and even handed.  The specific figures are as follows.
